Melissa – Kikizas Company was founded in 1947 -Kikizas is the first pastry company, which was created in Greece and remains one of the most important food companies in the country. Since the early 50s’, when Melissa – Kikizas was first founded, till today, the company continuously marks progress and expands in various markets. Having international partnerships from the 80s’, Melissa – Kikizas has moved with great success to other food markets and to the tomato products market, where it created the successful product PUMMARO – MELISSA.

The main body of the company’s activities is the production of semolina and pastry. The Company has one of the biggest verticalized blocks of pastry production, which is situated at the cornland of Larissa, where over 60.000 tons of hard wheat are milled and over 40.000 tones of pastry are produced, controlling almost 40% of the Greek Pastry Market. The basic brand name, through which MELISSA – KIKIZAS pastry are known in Bulgarian market, is: PRIMO GUSTO which is enriched with many special pastas (tortellini, taliatelli, cannelloni, half-cooked pasta lunches).

In the Bulgarian market Primo Gusto is present since 1992 being the leader in the pasta category with growing figures each year.
